Because I can tell you this, I spent a number of years in the media broadcast and journalism profession before switching career paths into personal training, and what I see is that most of the “fitness world” has quite of a different mindset than me, and that’s why I created this program. In fact, I’m pretty turned off by the fitness world to be honest.
For some reason, a lot of people in this industry over-infatuate fitness in their lives. Like, it becomes their idol. And you see it all the time. Look on Instagram and you will see people posting their flexed poses during every gym workout that they do, and spending hours and hours in the gym everyday – while the world outside is moving without them doing much to improve it.
I know that sounds harsh, but it’s the truth.
I am pretty bold about my priorities, and the first one is to follow God’s will for my life. Through that, I’ve created this workout app for helping others (and that includes YOU) to adhere to an optimal weight lifting program that will enhance your higher desires, and allow you to do the things you want to do – and are called to do – better. That’s first in my life, to follow God’s will.
Secondly and below is to be there for my friends and family. I have a love for music. I love creating and producing video and audio projects. I love being in the zone socially and hanging out with like-minded creative people. I love petting dogs and showing animals love. Working out doesn’t come above all that, even if I make time for exercise almost every day. Working out HELPS those activities. There’s a big difference! You don’t have to make an idol of your workout or post pictures of yourself posing every day on Instagram to be fit. It’s not a requirement.
