When I was creating the workout program and developing the app for “1 Workout 4 Life,” my closest friends were asking if I was going to include nutrition planning in the program.
Now mind you, not everything about the app was known right from the start – God revealed many things as they became relevant to this project. However, I knew from the very beginning that re-inventing the wheel on meal planning would be unnecessary.
In my humble opinion, meal tracking apps are golden. They are what technology should be used for: to better us as a population. (While Candy Crush sends us backwards. Sorry, I had to interject some hard candy truth in there.)
While no meal tracking apps have paid for a mention in this article (nor do I have any compensation coming my way for including them), for your sake, here are the 2 apps that you should consider downloading:
- MyNetDiary (my favorite)
- MyFitnessPal (probably the most popular)
[Check out the 1W4L Nutrition Intro article for even more on tracking your meals]
MANY people have succeeded on their nutritional journeys by tracking their meals with these apps (and similar ones), and you can be next. If you aren’t currently using one of them – or another one you like and are having success with – try them both and see which one you like best. Different strokes for different folks. Regardless, you can simply download one of the apps and it will guide you through the process and guide you to a healthy success!
To your best health,
